TECHNOLOGY
Tour-grade analysis,
the size of a paperback.
Caddi computes a complete biomechanical breakdown of every swing — eleven metrics, scored against a perfect one — entirely on the device in your hand. No cloud round-trips. No data leaves your phone unless you decide it should.
THE NUMBERS
Eleven metrics. Every swing.
Each one is computed in the same second the clip lands, with an ideal range tuned for your handedness and the angle the camera was at. No setup. No per-club calibration step.
ROTATION
Shoulder turn
True rotation between address and the top of backswing.
IDEAL · 45° FACE-ON
Hip turn
Lower-body coil, the foundation of clubhead speed.
IDEAL · 24° FACE-ON
X-factor
Shoulders against hips — the stretch that stores power.
IDEAL · 22 – 42°
RHYTHM
Tempo
Backswing-time to downswing-time. The single strongest predictor of consistency.
IDEAL · 3 : 1
Backswing length
The difference between width at the top and a chicken-wing.
IDEAL · 150° LEAD-ARM ANGLE
STRIKE
Head movement
Lateral nose drift through impact. Calibrated against your shoulder width.
IDEAL · < 3 CM
Spine stability
Maximum deviation from your address spine angle through impact.
IDEAL · < 12° CHANGE
Clubhead speed
Estimated from the lead-wrist peak velocity in a window around impact.
IDEAL · FASTER ↑
POWER
Hip sway
Slide vs rotation. Penalises the dreaded reverse pivot.
IDEAL · < 8 CM
Weight transfer
Hip-centre delta projected onto your target line. Sign-correct for left-handers.
IDEAL · + 4 CM TO LEAD
Swing plane
Best-fit line through the lead-wrist trajectory address-to-top.
IDEAL · 55 – 65°
COMPARE TO PERFECT
Not a number on a screen.
A side-by-side reference.
Caddi members open any clip, tap Compare, and the player splits in two: your swing on top, a textbook reference skeleton below, locked phase-for-phase to your own tempo. Caddi pauses both panels at the moment you’re losing the most points and surfaces a coaching cue describing what the perfect swing is doing differently.
Phase-locked
Your top of backswing aligns with the perfect top of backswing — regardless of how slowly you take it back.
Auto-focused
Caddi finds the metric you're losing the most points on and seeks both panels to that exact phase.
Coached
A short, specific instruction explaining what the reference skeleton is doing that yours isn't.
PRIVACY
Your video never leaves your phone.
Pose detection runs on Apple’s Vision framework, locally, on the same chip that runs Face ID. The analyser layered on top is open to inspection. If you sign in to sync swings between devices, only metric values cross the wire — your raw video stays where it was recorded.
